Free & Compulsory Education
On 23 Feb 2020, APNA held a workshop at Paramount Public School, Ranchi, on the Right to Education Act, 2009. It explained the 25% reservation in private schools for poor and disadvantaged children. Linked to SDG 4, the event pushed APNA’s mission of education for every child.
Constitution
On 18 Dec 2019, APNA held a round table in Ranchi on “Constitution and Citizen Responsibilities” with 85+ participants, part of its SDG 16 “Know Your Rights” campaign. Later, 20+ events in Ranchi and Hazaribagh reached 1,200 people on justice, rights, and legal literacy.
Human Rights Awareness
On 17 Jan 2020, APNA held a seminar at Nabeel Public School, Bettiah, with 250+ students and teachers on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Sessions covered trafficking, gender justice, freedom, and workplace protections, stressing awareness as the first step to empowerment.
