Migrant Workers
On 11 July 2020, APNA’s E-Colloquium on migrant workers’ economic, social & psychological impact drew 700 participants. Speakers highlighted reverse migration, wage denial & state neglect. With 200+ live questions, the session ended by urging labour reforms for security, dignity & fair wages.
COVID-19
During the COVID-19 lockdown, APNA supported migrant workers and poor families in Ranchi and Hazaribagh by giving 140+ ration kits with food, masks, and hygiene items. In phase 2.0, we aimed to deliver 350 kits to the elderly, women with disabilities, and single mothers.
World Earth Day
On 22nd April 2020, APNA marked the 50th World Earth Day with a virtual session on The Role of the Judiciary in Saving the World from the Climate Crisis. The session reaffirmed the climate crisis as both a legal and moral issue, urging the judiciary to act as a transformative force.
