Spontaneous Dialogue: How to Effectively Plan the First Three Years of Law School

On 17th June 2021, the Association for Parivartan of Nation (APNA) hosted a Spontaneous Dialogue session on Clubhouse titled “How to Effectively Plan the First Three Years of Law School”. The event drew 80 participants, most of whom were aspiring law students and young professionals eager to navigate the early years of their academic journey.

The session emphasised that law school, while demanding, can be transformed into a rewarding experience with careful planning and organisation. The discussion was peppered with practical advice, from managing internships and balancing coursework to building networks and honing research skills.

As a participant, Tasneem, a first-year student, reflected:

“I joined this session feeling anxious about my journey ahead. I’m leaving with a roadmap that makes law school feel less intimidating and more purposeful.”

APNA’s facilitator, Maitri Singh, added: “A goal without a plan is merely a wish. With the right guidance, students can shape their law school years into a foundation for meaningful change in society.”
